I've got a 69 with 20" all the way around I think the right shock will make it or break it.Should I go cheap or expensive and does anyone ever adjust their 50 way adjustable shocks?

well, since you've got $3000 in wheels and $1500 in tires, why not step up and get the best shocks you can find? they might just prevent a pebble from mangling one of your rims when you run it over.
