i just purchased a 70 chevelle malibu. i discoved the car has front disc brakes. when i bought the car i was told it had drum brakes. they are manual, it also has heavy duty front and rear sway bars. everything appears to be original due to the road grime on the under body. are these standard equipment or factory options. it also has five spoke GM 14" ralley's which are original. new to chevelle's thanks for any info.

Those are options. Sounds like someone may have, sometime in the chevelle's life, added the F41 suspension setup although they could have came with the car when ordered. Only a build sheet will tell you.

Does it have the rear control arm frame braces? These tie together the upper and lower control arms together.
