: rear disc caliper location what do u know

is there a rule of thumb for caliper location on the rear disc ? or can they be located in any position. usually i see them at about the 10 oclock position. is there a reason for this . ? does the brakes function better in a certin location .? :confused:

Just make sure the bleed valve points up so you can get the air out.

540 is right, it makes no difference where it's positioned, (10 o'clock or 2 o'clock) as long as you have the bleeder screw at the top.

my calipers have 4 dleeder screws being they are 4 piston so ill pretty much have 2 pointed up . thanks guys.
