I am currently running a TH350 backed by a SBC 400. I was wondering if anyone knew the measurement difference from weld to weld of a 350 and 400. I already know the cross member gets moved back but I don't wanna cripple the car unless I have the proper drive shaft.

I also did a search and didn't find the answer I was looking for.

Thanks in advance

it would be easier to source a drive shaft from a t-400 car to replace the t-350 model.
the t-400 yoke is different from the t-350 yoke also....... :)

Just went thru this on my '67...

Replaced the 350 SB, TH350, and stock 10 bolt with a 454 BB, short TH400, and a 12 bolt rear.
Using the stock driveshaft (originally a 283/PG car), I had the shaft shop install new joints, a TH400 slip yoke, remove 1.5" from the shaft length, and balance.
Fits fine.
