At the bottom of the back glass, there is a strip that goes from side to side and in my case, is painted blue. It terminates under the side trim pieces at each end. He said he can take it out to spray it black to match the surrounding interior but he wanted to wait until I found out what is correct. My body guy asked if there is supposed to be a trim piece covering it.
I said, very intelligently--- Duh, I dunno.

Make me look smart guys.

Thanks,
Randy

would that be semi gloss or flat black ?.
IMHO, neither. It was supposed to be no glare from the factory. Best description I can give; it has a sheen but no reflective/glare qualities such as black trim paint.

Agreed, most of the trim paints I use come out looking like a satin finish.

Here is a pic. of the paint I use on the top of the dash and rear under glass reveal. Is it correct? Not 100% positive, but IMO it is as close as I could get it.
