I am installing a 700r4 in my truck, but the converter does not bolt up to my flywheel. I tried the alternate holes with the same results. I took the tranny down and removed the converter from it so I could look at it on the bence. It is a light green (translucent?) and bares the following numbers.

1B 522 K2 It also has 1B067 on it.

I have not intention of racing the truck, so I really do not need a 2400 unit. Just a good iron clad worker for long trips.

What transmission did you remove from the truck? It sounds like you may of had a 400 transmission, which has a larger diameter bolt pattern for the torque convertor then the 700 does. Most GM flywheels have both patterns though. All 700's that I have worked on have the same bolt pattern as the 350 transmission, you probably just need to get the correct flywheel.
