I have a 67 SS396 with the Muncie 4 speed. I have a problem with the shifter hanging up when I try to put it in reverse. All it takes is a tap on the middle linkage to move the center linkage forward and all is well. What can I do and or adjust to stop this from happening. I want to keep the original shifter as the rest of the car is original.
