Attempted to start, nothing, no power anywhere. Full charge on battery. Found + cable to starter half-fried. Replaced cable with insulation wrap this time. Car will not start, no click, no nothing. No power to anything else. While the new + cable has a small wire, this car never had a wire connected to it.

Dejavu..

Check out the thread about my 69. Almost the same issue.

The people here said I needed a wire from my battery to the horn relay. I found a terminal block between my headlights on the driver's side. I connected the loose wire from the battery to a piece of fuseable link and to the terminal. It solved my problem. Good luck.

The stater solenoid needs to be power up by keyed power......this means you dont have power at the key if the starter doesnt at least click.
I would check out the link in fclouds replie.

The battery + cable small wire needs to be connected for the ignition key to work. The battery small cable should have a 14g fusible link attached, then run to the terminal on the radiator core support. From there a 10g wire goes to the horn relay, then to the fuse box inside the car. With this circuit connected the ignition key should engage the starter solenoid.
