I read a post a few days ago, can't find it now, saying that a good but cheap upgrade after doing front discs is to go 11 inch rear drums off a mid 70's monte carlo I think it said. What cars have such bigger rear drums that will fit the axles on a 69 chevelle with stock drums. It mentioned they are or can be made to carry wider 3.5 inch brake shoes. Who has done such a conversion? How much work? What donors are best to look for? I have 14 inch rims, will these bigger rear drums still work? thanks
