Does anyone know how the kick panel vent cables are held in place at the top were they fit into hole in panel, are there horseshoe type clips [like on brake lines] or are they cir-clips? Not talking bottom where the cable slides over hook on actual vent Thanks

Looking at some O.E. panels they are held in by a clip that is very similar to the clip that holds your front brake hose to the clip on tne frame, only smaller and thinner. Kind of a horseshoe with a little tab at the top for removing it. Have never seen a clip like this anywhere else on any kind of Chevrolet. Sorry and good luck finding one.
