Guys, I have been installing my SS dash/wiring harnesss (1972), and I realized my assembly manual (for '71) doesn't match the wiring harness (my car, and all the wiring I put in it is 1972). I have a couple questions I hope someone can help with:

There are two ground wires coming out of tha gauge harness, where do these go? Actually, there is a 3rd as well, but it is clearly designed to ground the headlight switch.

I am guessing one to the back of the cluster, and one to the parking brake pedal, but would like to know...

There is no ground strap on the wiper switch, but it seems to have a tab designed to ground it by coming into contact with the cluster.

Thanks!

I just finished up my 72 SS dash and i hooked the 2 grounds to the parking brake assembley. DO NOT Ground to the back of the cluster. The cluster has its own ground. Thats what i did and smoked a brand new printed cuicut. A $100.00 BoBo And you are correct, the big one goes to the headlight switch.

Not sure what happened to your circuit card but the cluster does get a ground wire attached to the back, there is no other ground for the cluster.

The wiper switch on a 72 has the ground included in the switch wiring.
