I am re-doing a rear suspension for my brother's 64 Lemans. All listings show it to be the same as Chevelles for 64.

After tearing it all apart, glassbeading and painting the parts I cant find bushuings for the rear upper control arms. The arms don't appear any different.

I need to get this thing back together, what can I do??? BTW, when I removed the bushings at the rear end side of the uppers, I left the outer shells in because someone had said that the new bushungs used the old outers, but I can't even find a listing for them. As far as the frame side of the uppers, those bushiings were completely removed and are long gone.

Help!

OPGI shows a Moog 6 rubber bushing set for that Pontiac. So if Moog makes them someone should be selling just the uppers.

My Moog catalog has the Tempest and the Chevelle parts the same. 64-77 bushings are same part number.
The Moog rear bushing kit is K5161 (2 bushings) same part for upper or lower.(ex the 64 upper axle ears )
I show the upper axle bushing for 64 was a unique part. Original chevelle part number is 9773067.
My Modern Chevrolet catalog shows a replacement part(using same part number as original) They have last years price as$29.95 ea.
They are a dealer in Winston Salem NC

Hope this helps

The 1964 Chevelle rear end (10 bolt) housing upper bushings are smaller in diameter then the 1972 12 bolt housing I put in my car. Dave

64 was a 1 year only on the bushings for the rear end housing. In 65 GM used a larger one. Another 64 only was the adjustable upper arm, which won't fit the 65 - 67 because it will rub on the housing.
