Should be around 90...most list the called for air on the bottom or near
there for the air pressure.

most are 90-100 psi make sure you have at least 11-13 cfm to handle all the air consumption otherwise your compressor will never keep up and continually run

The air tool's owner's manual or specification plate will have the maximum operating pressure listed.

GENERALLY, that's 90 psi. 90 is not universal, some tools use less. I don't know of any that need more--but--I bet you could find some if you looked hard enough.

Keep in mind, that's 90 psi AT THE INLET OF THE TOOL, and WITH THE TOOL RUNNING. To achieve 90 psi OPERATING PRESSURE, your static pressure may need to be upwards of 120 psi, maybe more.

The ONLY way to know that the tool is receiving enough air is to put a pressure gauge at the inlet of the tool, and verify pressure while you pull the trigger.

When I bead blast I'll run 120 lbs on the regulator through about 175' of 3/4'' black pipe.

Metal or rubber lines you will loose quit a bit of pressure, probably close to 7lbs on a 50' rubber hose.
