thinking about buying a 6 cylinder chevelle for a good body, My chevelle is a 8 cylinder, will the body from a six cylinder bolt to the frame of an 8 cylinder, is anything different? other than the motors and trans? transmission tunnel the same???? thanks guys!!!

I do not see anything wrong with it, people put 8's in cars that orig had 6's. A friend of mine did a 67 swap and he no issues. Depending on some factors, u may have 2 additonal body bushings. My 69 did when I did the frame off

Agreed. Much easier to swap engines than bodies.....

BTW. Chevelle bodies are the same regardless of engine or trans type.

Agreed. seems like to much work if you ask me. take what every you want out of your car and put it in the new one.
