this is a non chevelle question it is for a 2001 jetta. He took the e brake cable off , lines etc but the clearance for the pads is off is there a way to adjust these things we just dont see? Its like the piston needs to go back more to fit the pads but it wont...

There is a "disc brake piston wind back" kit for adjusting the piston when installing new pads...
