im having a really hard time finding rims that fit my budget, i want to spend around 500$ the most on some 16 by 7's and 17 by 8's or 17 by 7 and 18 by 8s. I lowered my chevelle 3 inches in the rear and about 2 in the front now i want to find some rims that will give the car that "stance" it seems every rim i find is 250$ each, if you have any suggestions on what type to get please respond, i cant seem to find what looks good on our cars so show me the way! thanks

I have seen Iroc Z rims on Chevelles and they are 16X8 pretty cheap used. But you are correct anything 17" cost alot including the tires.

You should be able to pickup some used 15s with tires for 500. I just don't see proper fitting 17s without more of a budget.

I priced some wheels and tires at Discount Tire Direct, check link below. I could get 4 of these wheels(link) an 4 Nankang 245-45-17 NS-1 radials for $778 shipped because they have a $50 discount and free shipping. I have seen many people on various sites buy these from there and they love them. Just a heads up for you, if you do a little research on wheel sites and do a little searching a pay attention to other peoples posts on different sites, you will find deals like this!
