I am able to buy a set of 15x7 5bolt (4 1/2inc.) with 50mm offset???. They are off of an s-10. Will the bolt pattern line up with my 72 and how about the offset(is that like backspace) .. I am afraid will they stick out and look goofy. TIA .. Frank

Frank, They won't bolt up. The older (and some newer) GM's are 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern.

WHAT?? A 72 Chevelle and any S-10 ever made have a 5x43/4" bolt pattern so the wheels will bolt right up to his Chevelle if they were bolted on the S-10!

looking at this link it shows that the 15x7 w/50mm offset has a 6inch backspace. Me thinks thats not good???

Seeing the pics of your car............I would keep what you have. They look way better then any AR outlaw wheel.
They look more at home on a truck.

If it is the 6" bs 4WD s-10 wheels you do not want them anyway! They are offset like a front wheel drive and would not fit your Chevelle right at all plus, they are just an ugly wheel overall, keep your wheels or look for some nicer ones that fit your car correctly.
