Does anyone know the overall spring heigth of a 3" lowering spring? The guy I got my car from said he put 2" lowering spring but the car seems to still stand up pretty dang high. I wondering if maybe he was confused....:thumbsup:

Stock length for a BBC spring is about 16.5" - 17" uncompressed. Cutting 1" of coil is roughly equal to 2" of drop so... 1.5" shorter than factory length should be roughly 3" of drop. This is not taking into consideration spring rate changes.
