So I sent my radio to Ward's radio almost a month ago and still haven't gotten it back. When I call the number on his website some woman answers with a "Hello". Shouldn't they have a more professional service. Also, when I speak to the guy, he seems to always be in a bad mood and is very short and curt with me.

I was just wondering if you guys have had the same interaction with this guy? Everyone on here referred me to him and I thought it would have worked out a lot better than this. Thanks :)

Sergio; I was just wondering if there was any mention or promise before you sent the radio about turn around time. If he promised a week or two turn around then he owes you an explanation. If there was no discussion about how long how would have your radio then I think you are at his mercy. Usually any respectable restoration service is up front about such things. I have never used this service so I can't speak first hand. If you are unhappy at this point maybe you could just ask him to return your radio before he actually starts working on it!!!!

They did the AM/FM Stereo out of my 70. I was very happy with the service and turn-around time, but that was about a year ago.

I've used Ward's multiple times...always great service and quick turn times.
I'm wondering if there is some type of medical issue...:(

Well I got an email today from them and they said they would have it restored in a "few" days. They made it sound like they got very busy all at once. Thank God I didn't need it back quickly. I asked them by email if they could expedite the shipping. Still waiting for a reply on that one. I'll let you guys know how it comes out.

Oh, Dave and Bill, when you say quick turn around times, how long is that? Like 2 weeks or a month? Just wondering, thanks.

I got mine back in less 10 days...but Ward's is only in Huntsville, AL.
I would guess too on what was needed to be replaced in your radio. Parts availability maybe??

You're a lucky guy Bill. They said they haven't even gotten to mine after 3 weeks! The guy said they should have it done in a few days.I asked them for expedited shipping for the radio on the way home. I have yet to hear back from them. Thanks God I didn't need it back quicker. Sheeesh.
