At the CanAM northern gathering last month I won a $250.00 gift certificate for Baer brakes. I checked their website and it doesn't offer lots of useful information.
Question is, I would like to do a front conversion from drum on my 68 wagon. I'm looking for something either comparable to a stock drum/disc swap...or something up one notch. I'm not looking for anything crazy here.
Has anyone had any Baer expeirence, if so Where to Buy???

There's several places you can purchase these brakes from, but I opted to go directly through baer. Their number is (602) 233-1411. I havent been to their site in awhile, but it did show the different levels of conversion kits available. I opted to go pretty wild with their track 13" and touring 12" f/r setups. Some of the best upgrades you could make. Just give 'em a call.

Excellent company!
Got mine directly from them, the kit is extremely complete, comes with EVERYTHING.

I also did the track 13" front setup and the regular rear disc conversion. The stopping power flat out scares some people, and I don't mind using it.
Good package, very easy to install, well worth it.
I think you could get just the front track system with everything you need for ~$1k with that gift cert, although I haven't looked at prices recently, actually since I bought my system...
I ordered directly from them as well.

Get a hold of Clint (clint44), he is a dealer and will treat you right. I would look into the serious street setup, the track system will rerquire new wheels if you don't already have at least 16's. The track system is nice (it's just a C4 HD setup), but the serious street is all a cruiser will ever need.

I think the serious street is more my speed, I would also like to keep my 15x8 ralleys.
I'll try to find clint44.
Thanks

Rob, As stated I think you use your certificate directly with Baer.
You may concider getting just rotors for the certificate. Perhaps the Eradi-speed's would be good. You can use them with a factory setup. Also you can go with a tall spindle conversion with either 11" or 12's.

I have the serious street on my camaro. I have 15 inch rims and I wanted to keep the drum brake spindles. Nice kit and includes everything but a rear proportioning valve. Baer says you might not need one, but I did. I also bought my kit from Detroit Speed and Engineering.
