Im currently running a 68 chevelle with an older LS-6 Crate engine and a 4 speed, and I can't hook up with it at all. The current suspension is stock with the older style ladder bars- It looks cool, but are there better options for the susp.? I don't have any wheelhop, just massive spin. Also, I have a problem with vibration at high speed 60+mph, good that be related to the ladder bars? Thanks,

What are you running for tires? Is this at the track? What's your ET?

Most people don't like ladder bars on a street car. Since most people here have a race car that sees the steet, and isn't race only, I haven't heard much about ladder bars for drag race use either. I have no idea how good or bad they might be for racing. smile.gif

The popular setup (and what I went with) are SSM bars. Help hook up and are very streetable.

I also run the Lakewood ladder bars. I love the look and they stop my wheel hop. These don't do much for wheel spin. You might need adjustable ladder bars for that and adjust the angle of the differential to a downward angle. About 4*, from what some round track guys tell me.
