When I took the rag joint apart to do my A arm bushings on my 71, the steering shaft felt like there was a bearing loose or worn out.

Is there an adjustment to this part of the steering shaft ?

That lower column bearing is not adjustable. I believe that it is still available through the GM dealer network.

We have an '82 Camaro Tilt Column w/Cruise, WSW in our '69. We had a highly recommended and very knowledgeable shop here in Las Vegas rebuild everything. Under $200.00 and they rebuilt "Everything".

Might think about a complete rebuild, would hate to see something go really wrong at SPEED.
