I have seen many hints on this topic, but can't remember any of them. I have two body mount bolts that broke while taking the body off of the frame. One is flush with the body, while the other has about an inch hanging down. I need some tech advise on how to remove the broken bolts, any help would be great.

I had two broken ones like yours. On the one that extends a bit, I ultimately used a cutting torch to heat the bolt and caged nut almost red hot, then let it cool a bit, then turned the broken bolt out with a vice grip. Amazing how heat can free something. I tried less heat but it would not budge before that. On the one broken flush, you have 2 choices. Drill it dead center and progressively move up bit sizes until you can remove whats left inside. Or, take a cutoff wheel on your die grinder, or air saw, and cut on three sides of the caged nut, then bend the cut metal up to have the caged nut drop out. Put it on the bench and remove with heat, etc. Put that nut or new nut inside and then weld up the cut marks on the body. The above presumes you have the frame out of the way.
