Do we have tentative dates for next year yet?

I told Chuck I already had reservations for next year and he laughed and asked me how when even he doesnt know the dates yet.I told him I would change the dates as needed ,but he said he would post them as soon as he had it nailed down.

Damn I already booked off for next year, guess I will have to mvoe the dates.

Although it has to be approved by the powers that be in Goodlettsville, I'm gonna request June 10-12, 2010. Y'all keep your fingers crossed!

The last time it was one week later (2003) my first grandson was born and I had to miss CB. :(

But he's a great kid and loads of fun. :D

The date hopefully will work out better for some folks up north with kids still in school the 1st week of June. A common complaint in years past.

Plus the 5 stops for fuel, a couple stops for other things and your really looking at 16-18 hours. And that's if you don't get stuck for an hour or so in a traffic wreck nightmare!!!:beers:

I Hope so my B-day is June 11 and i cant think of a better place to celebrate crossing my fingers and toes hehe lol!!!! :D

This was the first year we couldn't bring Larry's grandson Cody because it was so early and he had finals all week. I think moving back a week will boost attendance - June 10 - 11 would be great!!! :yes:

That actually works out better for me. My wife and my daughter love heading into Nashville for all those activities. I do know what you mean about the rooms filling up quick. On a side note in past years we have stayed at the Comfort Suites one exit down from ground zero. All I can say is there where some sights to be seen with people pulling in looking for rooms. I would have to say probably the most beautiful girl in the world pulled in one night looking for a room.

Ya, one time, at both the Comfort Inn and Hooters, LOL. I always have to fly in, (ex airline employee), and one time I came down by myself. It was allot cheaper than the hotels right in Goodlettsville, but its only 5 minutes away. Lots of other resturants and such around there too. Although I must say it's allot of fun in the parking lots at the hotels in G'Ville at night, and closer to stagger to your room..

What years where you there? We always managed to have some parking lot fun there. I had stayed there in 05,06, 07 and 08 had a blast every year.

04, 05, or 06, can't remember, but it was raining that year and it curtailed allot of the parking lot happenings.

That will probably be the week I'll be in Reno bowling in my 25th and final USBC national bowling tournament. Worked out well for me this year, I went to CB on 6/4-6/7, and went to Vegas 6/10-6/13. Maybe I can fly from Reno back to Nashville on Saturday.... :D

just left the power tour this morning in Bristol. They have no start point firmed up yet, or any other spot either, but did say to reserve the weekend of June 12/13, so it is the same weekend again.

No doubt. That would be a nightmare for sure for us folks driving up from South of Nashville. :sad:

The one week would probably boost attendance by about a 100 or so cars. The late school year up here kills it for a bunch of us Midwesterners. I've got to talk the local gang into joining Aces so we can have 6 from my neighborhood alone. :D

Woohoo!! I might actually get to attend another CB if the dates are moved back a week.

Probably should start figuring out a trailer situation now. New TKO600 should relieve some of the driving issues but the new 505 might not like that drive.
