I am not sure if this is the correct place for this post but.....
I am looking for parts or a new steering column for my 71 chevelle. The plastic part in the column that houses the blinker stalk broke. Do you rebuild these or is there another type of column that will work in the car.

You need a new turn signal switch. There are a series of papers that will help you tear the column down and replace the switch. I don't know if the switches are different between standard (non-adjustable) columns and tilts. But I am fairly sure that they are available. The instructions are posted for the two different steering columns.
