I am changing the upper rear control arms in my 1968 Chevelle. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to get the bushings out of the differential?

BFH or a Bushing tool from here:

I lucked out on mine, someone had put in poly bushings so it only took some taps from the hammer and a punch to get everything out. Real easy. If I had to do it again with rubber, I'd shell out the money for the tool. It would make life much easier.

Wanna sell the old ones? Is the rearend a 12 bolt?

I made a tool using threaded rod, a couple pieces of pipe, a flat piece of steel, and a bunch of washers. I don't have any pics, but I got the idea from a member here. Try a search and I'm sure it'll come up.

The rubber is out of the old ones. I don't think you want them. It is a 12 bolt.
