Looking for the bracket for the brake line junction block on rear 12 bolt diff cover for 66 Chevelle, been told same bracket on 65-67 12 bolts ...... can't believe I lost it on the dissasembly !! Junction block and attatching bolt available in repo but no bracket !!

Thanks for the info .but no one including Right Stuff Fine Lines etc etc is making that bracket ....... the fitting I beleieve Modern Chevrolet say they have the correct one ......still looking for bracket!!

I believe I know which one you are referring and did see one on Ebay recently (think so at least)...but, he wanted too much $, imo...

How about custom DIY or adapting something else? If I recall, it's just an elbow of sorts, that has one hole attaching to the cover bolt (on of the uppers) and the other was threaded to accept the bolt from the junction block? Not sure if that's correct, but sure it would be easy enough to make yourself...unless you are strictly looking for oem stuff?

if it is the same as on 70 12 bolt rears then they DO make it. i had one of the first ones made in my hand at a carlisle show. i was talking to the guy there (a high up employee of "the right stuff")and he took a box out of his truck. he told me that it was the first run of them and they had not even been coated yet. he said i could buy it from him uncoated for like $25 or something like that. i guess they just have not listed it yet, but if you talk to them you might be able to get one.

Do not beleieve same as 70 however will call them to se if they make and do not list in catalog. Thanks.

has repo bracket available for 16.95 ..... he is trying to make the 65-67 but needs 2 original brackets to do that ?? and currently only has one . Modern Chevrolet has the bolt on brass junction block 24.95. FWIW

Right Stuff does have the same 68-72 bracket 18.00 but no block they suggest a 69 Camaro flexhose which has an integral block on it that will work with this bracket ......FWIW

James Hinshaw Chevelle parts has the 65-67 12 bolt rear brake line bracket you are looking. It is a reproduction. smile.gif I just purchased one at the Charlotte auto Fair last weekend. His # is 336-586-0802. Friday hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
