I have a '65 convertible with lap belt in the front, no belts in the back. I have two kids, 6 and 3. My 6 years old son is starting to help out around the garage, getting really interested in the ol' jalopy. He weighs in at a whopping 40 or so pounds. What can I do to get him situated in the back seat with a booster car seat to have him riding around with me? It would be a great father's day present to myself. Thanks as usual... --Rich :(

Check out Andover Automotive... they offer 3-point, retractable shoulder belts for Rear applications... Naturally, they need some "fab", but they sell reinforcement plates, etc...

I am doing the same with my '70... my girls are 4 and 6, and bugging me to go for a ride... I didn't think I had ANY rear belts, but found them under the rear seat... But i want the shoulder belts for their booster seats...

I am hoping to buy mine next week (my cars still in the paint shop, and I need to measure the fronts before i order a full set)...

They are about $180 for the set (2 rear passenger setups)... Well, $170 for a "generic" style, $180 for vintage style...
