These cuties are in the light fixture right outside my french doors leading to my balcony. Each on is the size of your thumb nail. There are 4 hatched and one still in the egg. Cute little buggers. No clue what kind of birds they are but mom is like a "Wren" sized bird. What you are seeing is a couple of wide open mouths in the nest.

Way cool by me!!
We had a Robin nest above our front door on the window ledge one year. The pair hatched out 4 little one's and it was a hoot b/c they got to looking through the glass into our house.
A big storm came up one night and blew down the nest, I was all upset when I saw it was laying on the concrete b/c I grew attached to them.
Anyway, looking closer out front I saw all four little ones were OK hiding under the evergreen shrubs we have and Mom and Dad were close by. A couple to maybe 4 or five days later and they all took off fine.
We still have at least a couple of pairs of Robins hanging around.

I have 3 warring humming birds hanging around my porch. One of them is pretty mean and won't let the others get to the feeder.
A cardinal with a serious attitude issue----divebombs the bigger birds and the cats.
A frequent visitor is a beautiful Falcon that sometimes hangs out in my Oak tree.
Really strange how all of the other birds, the cats, and even the neighbor's dogs seem to dissappear when he shows up.

The wife loves the humming birds. For some reason we have some different colored ones this year. I need to get some pics of the feeder with them. Some are quite mean and chatter at others. Someone last year posted a pic of a nest at his house.

I was out back w/ the sprinkler on trying to save our crab apple tree/bush, flowers, pampas grass and lilac bush the year it got hot and stayed dry sitting on our glider and a Humming Bird came in, landed on a small limb not 8 feet from me and decided to take a shower!
I watched the little bugger go tail up and then down, out stretched wings, then folded, then repeat over and over for almost ten minutes taking a bath! What a hoot!
