Anyone use these front and rear sway bar kits from OPG? http://www.opgi.com/VCProdFrame.asp?vyear=69&group=27612
They look like a screaming deal. My 69 has a small front bar and no rear bar - corners like a boat. I'm hoping these will make a big difference.

yep, just finished putting the 1" rear on the coupe. I was happy with the fit, but I believe it was a gm sway bar so I didnt even have to use the shims I bought. I also purchased the 1 1/4 front but havnt put it on yet. should be installing it next week. I say get it. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

yes I've got the 1 1/8 front with the poly mounts & end links & the 7/8 factory rear with the boxed lower arms ... it makes a WORLD of difference in the way your car turns !!& OPG's prices are hard to beat ... It helps that I only live about 30 minutes away graemlins/thumbsup.gif so no freight charges for me ;) there are lots & lots of ways to make our old a bodys handle ..global west ..hotchhis.. PST..just suspension..just a few off the top of my head ... but if you don't have the factory stuff .. you sure can't beat the BANG for the buck you'll get from it !!! for around 250 for front & rear bars & bushings .. of course you'll have to modify your lower control arms get the weld in kit from OPG while you there graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I'm going to get the front and rear kits. The rear kit comes with the boxed arm conversion pieces that need to be welded in, so I should be all set. Comes to like $230 with shipping. I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and order unless someone tells me they aren't any good or there is something better out there for not much more $.

browntrout.... before you go ordering sway bar & such ... go to WWW.globalwest.net (http://WWW.globalwest.net) & read the what works with what in A body section ..or the FAQ section... they've may enlighten you as to a couple of usefull things like what size bars to run with what springs & what the different bushing do ... try it you'll pickup a tip or two graemlins/thumbsup.gif you might not want to put that 1 1/4 " front bar on or the 1' rear . or polly control arm bushing ... take a few minutes & learn a thing or two BEFORE you spend your money graemlins/beers.gif they know their stuff & I've allways liked to learn from other mistakes BEFORE I make em :D
