For any of you working out in the yard this summer, place a dryer sheet under the bill of your ballcap where it's just above your eyes......don't know why, but gnats, bugs, any flying insect will stay away, must not like the smell, but it works...also tell your wives to dampen a couple of em and use to remove soap scum off of shower doors...lastly, a couple sheets every 2 weeks under the seats in your vehicle keep it smelling good:thumbsup:

Maybe those bugs know a thing or two. Those dryer sheets are loaded with toxins and carcinogens.

One of my twins when younger was afraid of wasps while playing outside. We a drysheet to a light string and he wore this around his neck - never bothered by a wasp. Now he shoots them with the garden hose amazing what a few years of confidance does.

When we go camping, The mrs. allways attaches dryer sheets to the trashbag to keep flys/bees/wasps away.

I drink Gin & Tonics! The quinine in tonic is a good insect repellent. Hard thing is to drink enough so you start sweating it out :D

Iknow it works on the the bugs, but I can tell you for sure, that it doesn't always work on mice. I've got a nice hole in my headliner to prove it. Had sheets in the trunk, inside, under the hood, and under the car itself. Not real happy about that one.........

Put one on the front of your AC...the fan blows the smell around your room. Not on the vent. On the part below the vent that goes through the filter.

it didn't work on a friend's 89 Mustang- when he kept it at my place for the winter, he put dryer sheets inside the car and in the trunk just like he had read on the internet. come spring time, when he looked in the car he noticed that the dryer sheets weren't spread around on the seats like they were in the fall.. when he popped the trunk, he found a nest made out of all the dryer sheets right up against the back seat- with baby mice living in it.
those babies didn't get to grow up to adult mice..
the next winter, he tried mothballs- the mice just ignored them and used the box as nest material.
