Anybody run these or know the backspacing? Thinking about putting them on my '69.

Don't know the backspacing off hand, but I've seen these on several 70-72's. I personally like them a lot. You don't see too many vehicles with those wheels.

Tom Hendricks own's Elfie (sp?) Duntov's '72 Chevelle (belonged to the wife of Corvette engineer Zora Arkus Duntov).

Being a Corvette engineer he would not put on something that would not work properly. I can't remember the offset figure offhand, but the aluminum wheels have the same offset as the 15x8 Corvette Rally Wheels from 1969-82. A '69 Chevelle uses the same offset as a '72.

Sounds like an option, I think the vette rallys are 4.5" backspace.

The GM 69 -82 factory AZ 15x8 rallys and the GM factory 76 to 82 YJ8 15x8 Aluminum rims both have a 4" back space measurement.

Usually the older factory wheels are 0 offset. (centered) or very close to it.

Actually none were 0 offset:
15x8 rallys were 4" bs and should have been 4.5" because from outside lip to outside lip, which is where you measure backspace from, they measure 9" thus 4.5" would be 0 offset
15x7 standard rallys were 4.25" bs but should have been 4" to be 0 offset.
15x7 68 Vette wheels were 3.75" bs also not 0.

It appears that they will fit fine. 275's on the rear and maybe 245's on the front? Thanks guys!

OK, How about "close to 0 offset?"
