Clyde's 67

I'm looking at the difference between these two companies on the upper and lower rear control arms. Hotchkis claims that the Global West lower control arm with the aircraft sperical bearing and del a lum bushing makes noise, rattles, and is for racing only. Global West says they are the competitor and it's just a selling point of Hotchkis. Global West claims that the polygraphite bushings will bind the rear and they say use stock upper arms with rubber bushings. Can someone tell me if you have either of these setups and how good are they. I'm putting them on a 67 Chevelle convertible. Please let me know, thank you, Clyde

Personally I'm using Edelbrock arms, Ajustable uppers, Boxed lowers, along with Edelbrocks No Hop bars. I have not had a problem with ride harshness, but Edelbrock upper arms use poly on one end of the upper arms, but the Spherical ball really frees up rear suspension, definiatly not a race car only item as stated by Hotchkis.

I have the Global West lowers and am using the stock uppers, per Global West recommendation. Before I made the swap, I had stock arms with poly bushings. The GW setup works much better. The ride is not harsh at all, and I do not detect any "noise". I have gone over some rather harsh railroad crossings, and the suspension is very compliant. I have no rear sway bar, also per Global Wests recommendations.
