Time to change the door weatherstripping. Who makes the best product and where to buy it? Metro? Soft Seal ?

I've used plus Soft Seal weatherstrips for doors on two seperate vehicles a 67 and a 69 hardtop a quite a few years back, doors never shut right the molded ends were like hard rubber instead of a nice soft foam rubber like the weatherstrip itself. Always had to slam the doors, both these cars have since been rebuilt and Metro Weatherstrips have been used on both of them, doors close like a dream, I've installed them on several other cars and have been very happy with Metro seals.

I have soft seal on my 65 Chevelle. At first you usually have to close your doors a little harder. After a month or so it will go away. I like them no wind noise at all. Hope this helps. jemoore24

I have used Softseal on four restorations and had the same results as quoted.

Metro did the job for me on my '69. I had to do a little trimming around the glass entry points. Allowed me to adjust the doors inward.
