I just acquired a Buick GS455 and it has drum fronts. I want to change them to something bigger/better...

Just looking for suggestions...I only intend to run 16 inch wheels and the car will be driven on the street(not just track use).

Any ideas?

do a search for 12" B-body brakes graemlins/thumbsup.gif They'll fit most 15" wheels.

I have already done the b-body conversion on my 69 el camino...I NEED MORE!!

I want to stop on a very very very small dime!

Is there something better that will fit with a 16" torque thrust II wheel

Personally, I'd upgrade to 17" wheels and do the C5 front brake swap with 13" rotors. Yes, there are easy kits out there (and I'm guilty of using them) but you can piece the C5 setup together far cheaper and it will be just as effective as the high dollar kits. The C5 calipers are proven very effective, and they're OEM-reliable with OEM pad availability just about anywhere.

If you want to stick with 16" wheels, I believe you can run 12" rotors with the C5 calipers. The other option would be 12" rotors with the big piston Suburban calipers. No matter what option you go with, if you want LOTS of stopping power, run a hydroboost. (http://www.hydroboost.com) There is absolutely no comparison between a vacuum booster and a hydroboost, they're in an entirely different league. Absolutely stupid amount of braking power with darn near any caliper because of the super-high line pressures they can generate. Run some good pads and you'll be good to go... er, stop.
