After finishing the front susp on my 69 ive moved to the back and I was curious as to how everyones rear is setup, after some researching im going to go with the global west lowers(del-a-lum) and stock uppers with new rubber, I have 1 inch lowering springs in the front as I think most do which spring/shock setups in the rear does everyone run? I was looking for a raked look but would like to keep a low profile for handling purposes maybe a nice set of gas adjust shocks?
all input would be appreciated thanks!!

How do you use your car? I just cruise in mine, but I like it to hook too, even though I don't race it. (not yet anyways) I'm running the hotchkis lowering springs with KYB gas shocks in the back, airbags in both springs, with 8# in the left, 12# in the right, SSM lift bars, Jegster adjustable uppers with rubber in the diff ears, and a 7/8' swaybar. Seems to do well for my needs. smile.gif

same idea going to use it cruise but i do want it to hook up good i like the stance of your car the air bags seem like a good setup how much did you pick those up for? did you install them yourself? I would love to pull up to a new car and be able to waste him off the line and then take a corner better than him also :D graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I think the air lift airbags were around $70 or so from Summit, and they fit right inside the coil springs. Took about 20 minutes to install them. I don't really get to push my car through corners as hard as I'd like to, but that's because of the C clip eliminators. That's a whole other story. The swaybar probably contributes the most to the handling.

Look into truck-arm suspension. There is no better rear suspension out there, well maybe full independent, but that is a little extreme. Do some research, the truck-arm set-up improves everything over even the BEST replacement upper/lower arms.
