My wife's 87 XJ-6 (with Chevy power) needs a rear brake job. One of the rotor's are scored. I've never messed with one of these. What does it take to remove the rotors & calipers? It looks ugly....

71350SS Oct 24th, 04, 9:27 PM Jimmy, If that is the IRS with the inboard mounted rear brakes, :eek: If you just have to replace pads its not that hard.If the rotor needs replacing you have to pull the axles and slightly lower the cradle that holds the IRS.Not the easiest of repairs. | ||
