I have a '66 malibu that appears to have been power steering at one time, currently it has a manual box. My problem is that the inner tie rods contact the oil pan and the zerk fittings on the inner tie rods hit the cross member. I was wondering if there is a different center link for manual steering, or if perhaps the pitman arm is incorrect. The pan is not original, but it is a Milodon and they assure me that there should not be any interference problems.

On my'64 I changed from Manual to power steering and had to change the pitman arm to go with the power steering box. Dave
