I just sent my Chevelle to the blaster but I have to deal with a problem when it returns....

It must have been some sort of miracle, but every body mount bolt but two came out and the two that didn't broke off. The two that broke are the front bolts right and left side. I can see that the cage nut is still in position and I have a little bit of stick out to grab onto. BUT I locked my vice grips on the stick out today and they didn't budge!! I sprayed with PB blaster and let it soak...still nothing doing? I am sure this has happened to some of you guys before. How do you get those broken bolts out!! &%!@!!

Body still on car I assume? If so get your torch out if safe to do and heat it up.Or try that late night infomertial tool that screws into the bolt itself in reverse and remove it that way.Worked for me.

I had the same problem only at the rear of the car. I took a torch and heated the bolt that was sticking out and used vice grips, it came right out.

You're probably going to have to but it open, and remove the cage nut, then weld in a new one and weld up your cuts. I was lucky and the two front ones came out clean. I had to cut out the two under the trunk kick up panel and then patch the holes I cut.
