I just put all new brakes all the way around on my 72 chevelle and I put new wheel cylinders on the rear and bleed all four wheels a few times and when I hold down the brake peddle and turn the rear drums they still turn freely. :confused:

Did you adjust the rear brakes? If not you might want to try that,it's the star wheel thing at the bottom,just turn it a few times.

I adjusted them until the drums just slid over the shoes. When I had the drums off and pushed the brake pedal they did not engage.

Bleeding Proceedure ?????????

Did all the fluid leak out of the master cylinder? You might need to bleed it and then bleed every wheel again starting with the farthest from the master cylinder.
