I am using DP74LF as a sealer and putting it over Evercoat highbuild primer. Will there be a reaction or any problem with doing this. The guy in the paint supply store said no, but I like to make sure.

No problem. Properly catylized and fully cured undercoats will not present product compatibility failure. If this were the case then every collision and resto shop would have to stock all brands and their mixing systems.

You can't imagine how much I want to get this hood finished. I just want to drive this car.

While I was waiting for some better weather to finish painting this car the engine computer and the body computer went south on me and I spent over $1000 to straighten it out. Not a good spring for my vette or my wallet.

It's been about 2 months since I had the accident with it I took a break for about a month I had some stuff to do on the house. Plus I wanted to get some better weather. It seemed like it was rainy and chilly all spring in the northeast. It has finally gotten to some good painting weather.
I did the quarter door and front fender and they all came out perfect, it's just this !@#@$ hood that has been giving me trouble.

Now with the sealer, I haven't used any in awhile. The hood is now primed and sanded smooth with 400. Sunday I will spray the sealer and let it sit for about 90 minutes as per the instructions then basecoat and clear as per their instructions.

Any suggestions?
I just want to get this car done so I can use it and get back to my GTO.
