For anyone interested, I created a Photobucket account that anyone can access and upload pics to. Just go to www.photobucket.com, then enter the following:

user name Team_Chevelle (make sure you use the underscore)
password chevelle

The only thing I ask is please create a separate folder for your pictures to keep them somewhat organized.

The old race car Tinker Toy was there. Back in the 70's the original owner bought a new 1970 LS-6 convertible and drag raced it from new. Here is an old pic of it back in the day.

Now it's been restored back to original like it left the factory. Personally I'd think it might be worth more if it had been restored back to racing form but maybe not. It has 2600 something original miles on it - it got that many the hard way - 1/4 mile at a time. Something you don't see every day. A 1964 Acadian - the Canidian version of the Chevelle. Looks like a Pontiac grill kind of to me. Had a 1964 Manatoba plate on the front.

I'm sure your right. I decided not to come But changed my mind at the last minute. I was even in route and thought about turning back. I walked through the field on Sat. and the highest number I recalled was 247.

The convert. turned out great!

That's a fact, cause I'm one of them. Incredible work.

I had a great time this year at the show. Was nice to finally meet some of the guys I've talked to from this site that stopped by to see the old Tinker Toy I restored. Dave's 72 did look great and was part of an impressive line-up of 72 BB verts. Lots of cool cars to look at this year.
