I am trying to find small block lowering springs for my future daily driver SBC 66 chevelle. I want it 1-2" lower but can cut to tailor to my needs. I'm not finding alot of choices for 66 but alot for 68-72. Are they the same? I thought they were just flat on top, and just cutoff coil at the bottom to seat in the pocket.

If not, what springs should I get?

Thanks Gents! :beers::thumbsup:

Also, if anyone has some sbc aftermarket springs, I have aftermarket bbc springs in my car right now and would be willing to trade them straight across.

The 64-67 springs are not flat on either end, just cut off on each end. You could go with stock car springs (9.5" tall) with adjustable height spacers, quite a bit of info here and in the pro touring forum on this. There are also stock car springs that are longer so the spacer isn't needed that may work, although they can't tell you how much they will drop.
