I believe you can get most, if not all the info you need from a GTO Red Book from Motorbooks International. It's a small, softback book that fits in my back pocket, so I carry it around to swap meets, and the wrecking yard to help verify #'s. I'm pretty sure they make them for many different cars.
You might try these websites to see if there's links to the site you are looking for: classicalpontiac.com, poci.org, and performanceyears.com. There are probably many other sites out there that I'm not aware of. These I do know. Hope this helps. 64elkynss

Post the info here!
I bet we can decode it as well as anyone!!
It's a Fisher Body product just like our A body cars.

Most of the codes from KC builds are the same as the chevy`s except for a couple. Most everyone with a 64-65 Chevelle agrees that the L in the second column refers to a 4 speed. However, the GTO 64-65, uses the L to instruct workers to put a hole in the floor at final assembly, for either a 4speed or 3 speed, floor shifted trans. The floor shifted auto hole is different, but all floor pans begin the same. This has been studied at the PY forum site and with the vast array of build sheets from Pontiac Historic Services, the evidence is certain. Just one related item. The rather rough cut floor shift holes are the norm, as they are blown in with what looks like an oxy-acetylene torch at final assembly. I have examined quite a few, and would have thought that a plazma cutter would have been available in 64, but even a 1978 Elcamino, 4sp, I bought new, had the same rough hole look.
