I need to replace my rear coil springs on my '66 Malibu SS. I plan to use SSM lift bars. Should I use stock GM replacments or? It's not lowered, worn out stock in the front and rear now.I just want it to sit level or a little raised in the rear. Thanks in advance, Mike

A lot of people have used Moog cargo springs or Station Wagon springs for a little height and more stiffness.

Not sure what the part numbers are but you might be able to find them in a search.

The Moog cargo springs that we used in our '71 were CC501. We like 'em a bunch. Sits just right!

Thanks for the replies to my question. The wagon springs were suggested by a friend. He has a pair of some variable-rate, load leveler aftermarket springs in his '68 Malibu and it could use even a little bit more height. Mike
