I think 67 QJets came with either the circular tag or numbers stamped in the main body on the secondary, driver side. Not sure if 67 was the last year for the circular tags or not. I don't think a QJet came with both the tag & the stamped application number. Without the tag or application number it'll be hard to identify.
According to Calvin's "...by the numbers" books the Powerglides have a date code on the case by the pan on the right side.

They came with a little metal tag that was attached to one of the screws that hold the top of the carb on. If the tag is gone, you're s-o-l .

ok on powerglide depends on year. some had date code stamped on bottom middle of trans pan, stamped on top of bell housing where it mounts to block , on pan rail on bottom side of trans in front of the pan gasket, also on bell housing where the under pan mounts. I found the date stamp for my 64 on the left side of case in the rectangular indents of the case inside of little circles. case has to be clean to find them. I searched for long time also found the date on the pan. hope it helps Gary
