I plan on doing a rear disc brake conversion on my 66 this winter. I'm gonna go with the trans am rotor and camaro caliper setup. Does anyone know where I can get cross drilled and slotted "REAR" rotors for a 79 trans am? These are not a very common rotor and I'm having a hard time finding these performance ones.

I got this link from another excellent member here at TC:
KVR Performance (https://www.kvrperformance.com/world/world.html)

If you click along the right side to search their catalog, you can find slotted and cross drilled rear disc rotors for a 79 to 81 Pontiac Firebird. I think they are $220 per pair. I'll probably be ordering a set as soon as I get some paychecks coming in smile.gif

Best of luck!

They carry an extensive line of replacement rotors for various applications. I think Power Stop makes quality, made in the USA, rotors. Don't confuse them with Power Slot, which are made overseas.
