what is the best setting for these shocks. the car is a 70 chevelle 454 street car that see the stripe from time to time. there are 3 settings reg,frm,xtfrm what would help the car lunch better?

I don't know the specifics of it, but for a good launch, you want the front end loose.

You want the front end to come up quickly to transfer weight to the rear and leave it there. If the front end is too slow, you don't get all the weight transfer and you spin the tires. If the front end comes up too fast and drops too fast, you unload the tires a few feet down the track and spin them there.
