MMMMM, that'd be tasty. We used to get them out in the San Juans, when I was a kid. Did Shish-Kaboobs:D last night, just doing some burger's tonite.

Guess I should have been more clear. The clams will be quick fried, the Shish-Kaboobs will be beef and yard bird that has been marinating all day.

I'v been working around the house all weekend. Cleaning the garages and trying to build decent shevles, found out I'm not a carpenter:) Almost time to go pick up the Nova and I need a clean bay to park it in. I did paint my engine this weekend and order a few more parts, also took the old sail panels off and tried re-glue them, I'll try again later:(. I did get it out for a couple cruises but I need to replace the hot/cold cable so I can turn the heater off on days like this. :D

Yep, the fronts look great:D

Believe it or not, it rained every day of the weekend here. Not that I'm complaining, we need all we can get. I was thinking today, why wait two weeks for the track, might just do it this coming Friday.

Those clams from the right side of the bay?;)

Just got back from a little blast to pick up Tory from working.

I've been driving My car alot more lately, I don't know why, maybe the weather. But, I can say, I really like the 3:31's, so much mellower then the 3:73's or 4:10's.

Just got home myself.

Took the boys up to the Colby car show in the Buick. We met my friend Chris up there about noon and we stayed until 3:30. Chris hadn't been to a car show in years and never to one with that many cars.:noway:

He's been driving his LT-1 powered CJ5 the last four days and he's ready to start freshening it up.

While we were there we bumped into Frank and two of his kids enjoying the day.

After we left the boys and I grabbed a bite to eat and headed for the batting cage and spent some time there.

Now I have to take Austin to his moms and follow my wife to the Kia dealership to drop of her car for an appointment tomorrow.

Think I'll take the Buick.

I got home 4 hours ago or so. Didn't find many morels, sprained my ankle while walking for them (needed to wear boots, duuuh) and also got lost. So mushroom hunting was a bust.

Other than that I had fun. I was at 4 different camps this weekend!

Tammy, Shawn and I went for a good cruise in the 68 chevelle today then went to the colby car show. That was by far the largest car show I've seen there yet.

I did see Frank and his kids, it was really good to see them as it's been a while.

Was gonna go for a late evening drive in the 67 nova for a fuel run but got a 911 call from PNB to rescue him. Went and helped him out and now home for some chow.

I don't remember ever having a memorial weekend where it didn't rain, it was very nice for a change. I'm so ready for summer.

Where should I start? Been helping Dad 5 days straight cleaning out the shop and moving everything over to Grandpa's property 10 minutes away for the move....

Let's see....I had to solder in a new radiator cap spout in a service truck radiator which ended up being more work since Dad burned the whole thing off. So, I had to patch it with another radiator top but required taking the radiator out first to get gravity on my side. The tail lights somehow got unplugged and weren't working, we also have a few issues to sort out on the equipment trailer lights, as they aren't fully working either.

Also clutch dumped a '63 Chevrolet 5 yard dump truck without brakes onto the equipment trailer....the truck hardly runs as the carb is screwed, so that was exciting. Was helping Dad a bit with the 235 CAT excavator...put on a left steer hydraulic hose, checking pilot line pressures, etc.

Loaded up 2 trailers full of a diesel mechanic's crap...that includes a couple of diesel engines/blocks, various hella heavy tools and parts, an A/C charging machine, just about anything you can imagine and some stuff I don't remember even seeing.

Still need to move:

Mobile sand blaster
Gunnite machine
A bunch of iron and stuff behind the shop
235 excavator
John Deere backhoe...which hopefully will be running by Friday or Saturday this week
Lowboy gooseneck equipment trailer
Everything else left in the shop going to the new house

Anyway, you can see why I've been busy:sad:
It would help if everything to move or needing to be moved didn't need working on:mad:

The good news is I finally got that 5 tier shelf I bought back from Dad, as well as the blasting cabinet he hardly ever uses.
