I have a 1970 malibu 350. I would like to lower it 1.5-3". I don't want to cut coils.

which company do you recommed i get them from? I found that Eibach, Hotchis, www.opgi.com, (http://www.opgi.com,) www.yearone.com, (http://www.yearone.com,) p-s-t.com, and classicperformance.com have them.
I want the drop numbers to be acurate and i would like to spend under $250

I need to replace all of my bushings, (body, swaybars, rear controls, and front control arms,+ radiator) What kind should i get? I was told Moog is very good.

thanks
Brian

Coil Spring Specialties will custom make them for Chevelles, I got my front 2" Drops there. Good prices, fast service, smooth ride. I'd do it again. www.coilsprings.com (http://www.coilsprings.com)

I went with the hotchkis BBC drop springs and got an instant 1" but they said they will settle in the next year, so wait to cut(if need be, no more than a 1/4 coil). I used the Energy Suspension Hyperflex kit and it was awesome. Every piece needed except for the sway bar bushing due to there being so many different sizes out there. You can get the pretty red ones, but I went with the black because they are poly-graphite so they are not supposed to squeak as bad after time as the ploy-u do.

I had good results with the PST front end kit which included all bushings, ball joints, tie-rod ends, sway bar end links, and the hardware to install it.

No experience with drop springs (yet)

I agree. The owner of CSS owns a 70 SS-454 Chevelle and 68 SS-396 El Camino. He knows what's needed to lower one of these cars, correctly.
